Dear Participant,
Thank you for taking the time to participate in this research study on Fintech services. This research aims to explore how individuals adopt and experience FinTech (Financial Technology), focusing on the challenge of creating psychological connections that are often absent in online financial services.
What is Fintech? Fintech refers to digital tools and services that make managing finances easier, such as mobile banking apps, payment platforms, and budgeting tools.
Ethical Considerations: This project is being undertaken as part of a Doctor of Philosophy course at the University of Southern Queensland. This research complies with the ethical guidelines of the University of Southern Queensland. Your participation will involve completion of an online questionnaire that will take approximately 10 minutes of your time. Questions will include five sections. Your participation in this project is entirely voluntary. If you do not wish to take part, you are not obliged to. If you decide to take part and later change your mind, you are free to withdraw from the project at any stage. You will be unable to withdraw data collected about yourself after you have participated in the questionnaire. Your decision whether you take part, do not take part, or take part and then withdraw, will in no way impact your current or future relationship with the University of Southern Queensland.
Risks: In participating in the questionnaire, there are no anticipated risks beyond normal day-to-day living.
Privacy and Confidentiality: All comments and responses are confidential unless required by law. The names of individual persons are not required in any of the responses. All responses are non-identifiable and will only be used for the purposes of this research. The analysed results derived from this questionnaire, including aggregated data and statistical analysis (e.g., means, standard deviations), may be published in future research papers or articles. However, raw data (i.e., individual participant responses) will not be made available to the public. The raw data will be used solely within the research team for analysis and research purposes. Any data collected as a part of this project will be stored securely, as per the University of Southern Queensland’s Research Data and Primary Materials Management Procedure.
Access to Research Results: A summary of the overall research results will be made available to participants upon request. If participants wish to receive a summary of the research findings, they can contact a member of the research team via email.
Consent to Participate: Clicking on the ‘Submit’ button at the conclusion of the questionnaire is accepted as an indication of your consent to participate in this project.
