Project Title: Investigating student attitudes towards GenAI
Human Research Ethics Approval Number: ETH2024-0627
Research Team Contact Details:
Background:
This study's findings will guide academics to incorporate machine learning platforms in teaching and assessments in higher education. Artificial intelligence (AI) and other machine learning platforms advance new means to the higher education environment with the potential to transform conventional teaching, assessments and learning approaches. This study offers a comprehensive overview of AI technologies, their potential challenges and purposes in higher education. The authors aim to provide insightful information on how AI may be successfully incorporated into the higher education environment to advance academics and students’ progress through the student journey.
Objectives:
This study aims to achieve two objectives:
It will explore the factors that influence the behavioural intentions of students in higher education to use GenAI and examine the factors that influence their attitudes towards the use of GenAI-generated responses.
Participation:
Your participation in this project is entirely voluntary. If you do not wish to take part, you are not obliged to.
