The Language, Culture and Phenomenon of Objectification and Shame in the Professional Singing Population

 

 

Thank you for taking part in this research. 

The information you share will contribute to developing much-needed understanding of the impacts of objectification and shame within the singing community. Additionally, the information you share contributes to knowledge for healthcare and teaching professionals on potential improvements in practice as they reflect on the lived experiences of patients and students.

Although the questions may touch deeply on personal issues, your responses are completely anonymous. Please be as detailed as you wish in your responses.

There are 19 questions in this survey. We estimate that it will take 45-60 minutes to complete.

To take part in this survey, you must be over 18 and have been performing as a semi-professional or professional singer - meaning that you have earned some or all of your income as a singer. People who have left the profession yet meet the criteria may also participate.
